Grief Share

GriefShare is a group of people who will walk beside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. GriefShare seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are experiencing and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable GriefShare resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life.

Aseracare Hospice Bereavement Group

Alzheimer's Support

Memory Café is a monthly social group providing a safe, comfortable environment where people with memory loss and their care partners can enjoy time together and remain socially engaged with others traveling the same journey. Designed for people with memory loss and their caregivers. Registration required for all programs.

Meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 2:00 - 3:30 PM at 701 N. Weinbach Ave., Evansville, IN

This group offers a comfortable environment to gather and talk about their thoughts and feelings surrounding
the loss of a loved one. Meetings are held every other Tuesday of each month from 2:00pm - 3:00pm   
 at Linda E White Hospice House in the upstairs meeting room at 611 Harriet St., Evansville, IN.

Deaconess Lunch Bunch

Social opportunity for bereaved that need to get out, meet new people and have a little fun. Lunch is the 1st Friday of each month at 1:00PM at various restaurants in the Evansville area.

On the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 3:00pm, all are welcome to work on lap blankets to honor veterans, which
are given to the veteran patients when they are presented with a pin and certificate for service to our country.  
The meetings are held at Linda E White Hospice House in the upstiars meeting room.  Please call 812-450-7037

This group meets quarterly on a Saturday from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm.  There will be boxed lunches for all and 
at least one parent must accompany the children.  You can register for this activity based group by calling

Grief Share

This grief recovery support group is a special weekly seminar/support group for people grieving the death of someone of your loss. Alliance of Hope for Survivors provides information, personal stories from survivors, a blog, and a community forum.              
Through the forum, survivors can contact others with similar losses, share their stories, and discuss healing from a loss by 
suicide. The forum operates as a 24/7 support group supervised by a mental health clinician and moderated   

by trained loss survivors.


FRIENDS FOR SURVIVAL                
Friends for survival runs the suicide loss helpline (1-800-646-7322) and offers many informational resources for survivors
of suicide loss and professionals who work with them, including a monthly newlstter.  It has also published the guide
Pathways to Purpose and Hope, which provides information on building a community-based suicide survivor support program.
POS-FFOS provides a publis message board called Suicide Grief Support Forum, email support groups for parents and siblings
and memorial websites.
