Obituary for Grady Lee Harper

Grady Lee Harper, 67, of Boonville, Indiana, passed away Friday, March 8, 2019.

Grady was born in Dunmor, Kentucky on February 1, 1952 to the late Otha and Etta Mae (Covington) Harper. He worked in the Evansville Union Stockyards for 30 years and later retired from PSC Fabricating after 10 years of service. Grady was of Pentecostal Faith. He loved playing his guitar, singing, and deer hunting.

Grady is survived by his daughter, Jenny Ashby (Jim) of Evansville, IN; son, James Harper of Evansville, IN; mother of his children, Brenda Harper of Evansville, IN; grandsons, Donovan and Leland Harper both of Evansville, IN; sisters, Christine Pfingston, Faye Stone both of Evansville, IN, Dorothy Pease of Newburgh, IN, Patricia Goodwin of Evansville, IN, and Sharon Riley of Boonville, IN; brother, Ed Evitts of Evansville, IN; and many nieces and nephews.

Grady was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Syl Evitts in 2007 and Randy Harper in 2016; and a nephew, Jacob in 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711.

Friends may visit from 10:00 AM until service time at Browning Funeral Home.
