Obituary for Gayla (Moore) Julian

Gayla (Moore) Julian, 65, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019, at her home.

Gayla was born in San Antonio, Texas on December 20, 1953, to the late William and Elva Katherine Moore. As a child, Gayla's family had the opportunity to travel while her father served in the United States Air Force. Gayla's husband, Phil also served in the United States Air Force and they continued to travel together. After spending time raising her young children, Gayla had a successful career in human resources. Gayla enjoyed reading and family gatherings with her grandchildren.

Gayla is survived by her husband of 43 years, Philip "Phil" Julian of Evansville, IN; daughter, Alison Julian of Indianapolis, IN; son, Bryan Julian (Melissa) of Sellersburg, IN; sisters, Patricia Kewell of CA, Nancy Gilligan of CO and Linda Moore of FL; brother, Michael Moore of SC; grandchildren, Keira, Lena and Tessa Julian; and mother-in-law, Bertha Julian of Evansville, IN.

Gayla was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, William, John and Dale Moore.

Friends may visit from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, February 7, 2019, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711.
