Obituaries

Donald Dale Scott, 88, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Deaconess Hospice Care Center. Donald was born in West Salem, Illinois on February 4, 1924 to the late Dale E. and Martha (Rogers) Scott. He retired from International Steel and was a member of River of Life Church in Evansville. Donald is survived by his dear friends, Pastor Kim (Kimberly) Wells, Rev. Wayne (Audria) Wells, Kenny (Stella) Wells, and Gary (Dorothy) Wells. Donald is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Lou Scott; parents; sister, Wannetta McRoberts; brothers, Elwin, Keith, and Delmar Scott. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, August 17, 2012 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave. Evansville, IN with Rev. Wayne Wells officiating. Burial will follow at Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit from 10:00 AM until service time on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to River of Life Church, 1000 South Barker Ave., Evansville, IN 47712.
