Patty and Mich, We just wanted to let you know how much we loved and respected Uncle Jack. He was such a giving and thoughtful person. We so admired his dedication to his family. You were so blessed to have such wonderful parents, and we know you miss them terribly. We will keep you in our prayers.

Dad, we love you and will miss you. May God rest your soul alongside our beloved mom.

I have very fond memories of the Schaus family having dated Katie in pre-war years. My sympathies to Margaret and Don- A wonderful family in every respect.

Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of this wonderful gentleman. I was his nurse at Good Samaritan on several occasions and always enjoyed his wonderful smile. One night when he was feeling down I spent some time with him in his room, listening to him tell me about his career as an engineer. He expressed knowledge of the seriousness of his illness and my heart broke for him. I asked him if he had a religious affiliation and he shared his Catholisim with great pride. We can take care of patients every day, but occasionally one comes that leaves footprints on your heart. Thank you Mr. Schaus for all you gave me.
