She was born on June 7, 1943 in Evansville, Indiana, daughter of Martine (Basham) and Oliver Houghton. Donna was a loving mother, sister, friend and her most beloved role as Grammy. She was a member of Newport Baptist Church. Donna is survived by her son, George Marshall and his wife Renee, her daughter, Ginger Marshall (Kinchen) and her husband Kendall, her granddaughter, Kaitlyn Beth Marshall, sisters, Lois Miller, Doris Pemberton, and Barbara Brinker, and brothers, James, Charles and Loran Houghton. Donna was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Juanitta Kissinger, Della Staup, Nellie Cummings and Mary Louise Horne. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Avenue, Evansville,Indiana 47711. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit from 10:00 AM until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
